Sad to say that my Canterbury Cathedral book project is now complete. It has been a fantastic journey through many hundreds of years and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Got some great images. But looking forward new buildings are good too!

Dungeness

A good few hours at Dungeness today. It has got to be one of my favourite parts of Kent, reminiscent of the Karoo in some ways but with the sea! I will be starting the research and writing shortly, in between my trips out to the coast and have one or two image related image ideas to pursue.

Thanet Bays

Glorious weather combined with a free day made for excellent progress along the Thanet coastline yesterday. Dog had fun too. Next I'll get down to the more industrial area south of Ramsgate.

Busy week

It has been a busy past couple of weeks photographing lots of people for Parkeray, Argo & Systech. Obviously this has meant an enforced lull in KentCoast but weather hasn't been good anyway so that's fine. When Spring comes I'll get busy again!

Kent Coast project goes on

I worked out today that so far I have covered around a 5th of the total coastline of Kent assuming it starts at Medway and finishes roundabout Dymchurch. I am planning another day out this week at Broadstairs and the Isle of Thanet which will be great. I would like to explore further inland in some areas too but I think I will tackle those areas later. So I reckon that the project should be "finished" by the end of the year - just in time for my planned exhibition at the Viewfinder Gallery in London.
